Didi came on board of Cour de mer at 25.04.2007. During a visit at a market two little girls gave she in Fidis arms. They said, please take her and be careful. We named her Didi. She wasn't in good condition, very thin and had worms. With drugs, love and careness she recovered at least. Normally she slept in my arms, nightly in my cabin, always very close to me.

We were best friends and she loved jumping in her paperbox, like a dinghy or sometimes she slept in it. But in reality she didn't like driving with our dinghy. One day she jumps over quiet nerviously and fell into the water. Didi swam around the ship, dived under and climbed upstairs her own cat ladder. Unbelievable but true. We were very proud of our intelligent cat.

At 10. Mai 2008 she has born 3 little kitten. Two sisters and a male cat, who we named Schmalimax. The little cat family lived quit 8 weeks in my bed. Didi was a good mother, cared the cats and showed them all what they need to know.

When the male cat grow up he didn't accept his mother on board anymore, so she left the ship for living in a beautyful garden opposite. In the meantimes she has new babies and the whole world is hers own. But nevertheless I miss her.
